We Made The Books We Needed.
Kolor Me Silly is a tiny rebellion in book form. Built by two people who needed a reset, and couldn't find the right book to give them one.
the origin
It started in a quiet room, after a loud week.
There's a kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix.
September & Latarshia had come out of serving and stepped into insurance, the responsible next chapter. But looking right on paper and feeling it in your chest are two different things. The rent was always a conversation. The pressure was constant. And underneath it all, she was unhappy in a way she didn't have language for yet.
One evening, Latarshia sat her down and asked one question:
"What do you actually like to do for fun?"
September had always loved coloring. Art classes in school. Her own books sitting right there in the house. Something she came back to quietly, without ever thinking it could be more than that.
Latarshia didn't overthink it. "Then why don't you just create them?"
Something clicked.
Kolor Me Silly wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from the right question, asked at the right time, by the right person.

a baker + a dreamer
Poppy lives in a warm little barn-home that always smells like cinnamon, bread, and something baking in the oven "just in case someone stops by." She likes routines, soft mornings, organizing shelves, and making things feel safe. Her version of happiness is when everyone finally sits down and stops rushing for five minutes.
Ollie.

Ollie lives at the top of a giant treehouse packed with sketches, maps, lanterns, half-finished ideas, random gadgets, and souvenirs from adventures that probably sounded questionable at first. He can turn a grocery trip into a six-hour side quest. Exhausting creature. Endearing, unfortunately.
